Nintendo Switch 2 hackers say they are already forbidden

The original Nintendo Switch had such a huge problem with piracy that hackers could play fresh first page games a few weeks in front of the audience. Since the release of at the beginning of June, hackers have wondered if Switch 2 may have similar gaps, but early reports suggest that Nintendo provides typical methods of interfering with portable equipment.

Hackers on social networks are starting to share photos and anecdotes about their efforts to modify Switch 2, only to be hit by bans limiting online communication. This means that hackers cannot exploit such things such as ESHOP or play online games Mario Kart World.

The user claims that they used the type of flash cartridge favored by hackers in the original Nintendo switch, which allowed them to download and charge games on what is essentially the SD card. Because it is literally a cartridge, some hope hackers put it in Switch 2 to see what would happen. At the beginning it seemed that the answer was nothing. One user claims that their cassette would not load the title screen after trying to download the update. The same user now says that their console as a whole seems prohibited and that he tried to contact Nintendo customer service and they were told that nothing could be done.

“Not pirate games, I support my justified games that I have on the cartridges,” they have. “Piracy is shit, I work in creating software.”

Nintendo did not answer immediately at the request for comment.

The news of these bans is unlikely to stop some hackers, because the creators of Flash Carts claim that they are still working on providing their products on a fresh console. Elsewhere, the Reddit community, specially dedicated to switching switch 2, argue whether it is unthreatening to log in to accounts that have been banned on Switch on Switch 2, but the fear of having a fresh system worth USD 450 in some way makes them careful.
