Niantic has just announced the return of the Harvest Festival in Pokémon Go, where we celebrate all the crops harvested this year. The event, which will take place from November 7-12, will bring back seasonal fun and some invigorating modern features. Whether you have your eye on a uncommon Pokémon or just want to stock up on some resources, this limited-time event has you covered.
For a good start, Shiny Pumpkaboo will have an increased chance of being encountered during the Harvest Festival. You can also expect to earn 2x Candy for catching Pokémon, making it easier to stock up on resources. Additionally, Mossy Lure modules will attract more Pokémon, including fan favorites like Alolan Exeggutor, Snorlax, and Smoliv.
When it comes to wild encounters, you can expect increased spawns of Pokémon like Oddish, Exeggcute, Hoppip, and Miltank. The event also introduces the debut of Shiny Smoliva, giving you the opportunity to encounter the Shiny version of this Pokémon for the first time. Keep your eyes peeled because Super Size Pumpkaboo may also appear if luck is on your side.
Now, for more task-oriented trainers, you can participate in Field Research Tasks, which will reward you with encounters with Pumpkaboo of any size, as well as Smolive.
