New Zelda: Echoes Of Wisdom Trailer Reveals It Has An Entire Second World

Published:

This morning, August 30, Nintendo revealed a recent look for the upcoming game The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. Lasting just over five minutes, latest trailer presents a number of recent features for the Princess of Hyrule’s adventure. The main event was the area known as the Still World, which was full of intricate dungeons and inventive puzzle-platforming, but I’m sure most people will rather talk about how Zelda will be able to operate her sword when Echoes of wisdom premiere on September 26.

As we saw in the previous trailers, Echoes of wisdom a mysterious purple infection is engulfing Hyrule and sucking in the land and its inhabitants—including Link. It seems that anything that gets sucked into the purple void ends up in a place called the Still World, shown in the latest trailer. This is a second map that can be accessed from different points in the main world, a bit like the Dark World in Link to the past.

In contrast to the main outside world Echoes of wisdomStill World is an upside down place where the ground has been transformed and frozen in place. This means that some platforms are on their side or completely upside down as they hang in the void. This effectively creates a puzzle platformer that Zelda can traverse using echoescentral mechanic of the game. As we’ve already seen, echoes allow Zelda to summon items and even NPCs from her staff to complete puzzles and fend off enemies. We see echoes come in handy in Still World, where Zelda creates platforms to get from one disjointed, floating island to the next. To mirror the diverse environments of Hyrule, Still World is full of different biomes, making both realms feel full of wonderful variety.

Also in the Dead World are: Echoes of wisdomdungeons. As in the past Zelda titles will be gigantic, multi-room affairs full of challenging environmental puzzles that lead to a boss. An captivating detail in the recent trailer comes in a few moments that show Zelda in a 2D side-scrolling perspective, in a twist reminiscent of some dungeon locations Link’s Awakeningor maybe drawing inspiration from Zelda II.

Boss fights give you another chance to truly test the limits of the echo system. One boss fight shown in the trailer showed just how open these encounters are, thanks to your ability to summon almost anything you want. At one point, we even see Zelda summon a bed in the middle of a fight and step inside, as if the echoes she summoned could take it away and she could catch some sleep. While this may not be the most sensible strategy, as someone who also constantly needs a nap, I can’t blame her. However, this trailer also revealed that you won’t have to rely on your echoes alone to defeat enemies, as Zelda will actually wield a sword… at least in fleeting moments.

Zelda’s Swordsman Form – Making Her the Second Nintendo Hero to Get a Swordsman Form This Year Princess Peach: Showtime!—gives her a look reminiscent of Link and her own pointed weapon. This form seems to play with what one would expect in a time-honored Zelda game but this ability is time-limited, so the princess can only swing her sword for a miniature period. In the trailer, we saw the bar deplete, which means the form is at level 1, so this could be something you can upgrade as you play.

In addition to the echoes, Zelda will be able to collect more ways to move and fight her way through Hyrule with a series of allies. The trailer introduces us to Dampé, an inventor who will give Zelda mechanical allies that will have different abilities than the echoes. Be careful, though, because these automatons will break if damaged too much. This is just one of many allies you will meet on your journey. To sum up, the latest trailer only Echoes of wisdom They look even more stimulating and I can’t wait to get my hands on them.
