Amazon has finally restocked pre-orders Commander deck for Magic: The Gathering in Final Fantasy 7 Game Edition. This is just in time, as the deck and several other up-to-date Final Fantasy MTG products will be released in just a few weeks on December 5th.
Priced at $99.99, the up-to-date version of the “Limit Break” Commander deck offers the same 100-card deck already available, but with a download code for the original Final Fantasy 7 on PC and a up-to-date promotional card featuring the iconic shot of Cloud in FF7.
Since its reveal, the up-to-date lineup has been incredibly tough to get hold of, with pre-orders selling out within a day. Amazon stocking up on a brand up-to-date allocation is great news for fans, and you no longer have to pay inflated prices to third-party sellers.
It’s not just a collector’s item; the commander deck itself is absolutely fantastic, and actually pairs well with last year’s Fallout pre-release Scrappy Survivors (as long as you’re joyful with another bold RPG crossover).
Limit Break is all about raising your creatures’ power to 7 to trigger additional effects from Cloud or Tifa, while minimizing gear costs to allow you to switch gear and keep your opponents guessing.
The reprint value is decent too. Not only do you get the Darksteel Plate, Sword of the Animist, and Fire-Lit Thicket, but Clever Concealment has an awesome up-to-date Cloud disguise art.
