Ventus is a fairly uncomplicated graphics card. In a different life, it can even be close to the MSRP RTX 5080. Because the graphics card market is now a bit chamber, it is not. Nowhere is close. This makes this challenging recommendation, although there are many talented in many ways.
Ventus 3x OC White has three Torx 5.0 fans and measures 303 x 121 x 49 mm, which means that this is not the highest size or weight for the RTX 50 series. As a result, it is a fairly standard tariff and should match most cases. The main draw of this particular Ventus 3x model is that it is in white, although it is also more or less the same Ventus OC 3x Plus in black and silver. However, do not be scared, I promise that you will now find a lot of white computer parts to combine compilation, and this pure card should easily match most other elements.
By removing the metal rear plate and plastic fan shroud, I can better look at the copper base plate and nickel heat, which I measured 27 mm stout. I do not completely remove this because I still have to employ a comparative tests card, but between the base plate it includes memory with individual thermal pads and seems to make good contact. It is also contact with the supply of power and again more thermal pads here.
The basic plate itself explodes to eight plumes, four sections covering PCB in the direction of IO, and four longer extend to the other side of the card. MSI used a piece of thicker metal as a strengthening structure between the IO plate and almost three fourth heat, which seems to aid in the stiffness of the in situ card on my test bench.

Oh, and a nice accent with the construction of this completely white card is that the cover cables are also white. Small details and so on.
So how did this card go to testing? Like the RTX 5080 Founders edition for frames per second, although it is also quite cold. I measured it at 69 ° C during three exho exhanced edition waveforms in 4K, which is only one degree warmer than the edition of the founders in the same test that I can easily view the test variance.
The MSI card leads a little slower in the same subway test compared to the release of NVIDIA founders – Ventus 3x hit the average clock speed of 2654 MHz. Fe was managed by 2736 MHz. This is slightly explained by the draw of the higher power of the FE model compared to the MSI OC card, on average over 8% more power, although you need to wonder what OC means, if not a higher clock than the FE model.

As a reminder, the Ventus 3x OC Plus is rated to a higher clock speed than the FE model except the box. This is an augment of 2640 MHz, with an extreme profile to augment it to 2655 MHz, available in the MSI Center application. The F model works at 2617 MHz. Although it is technically correct to name Ventus 3x OC Factory Nadnari -Konce Card, this is one of the darkest in the area. Therefore, it doesn’t mean much when you start talking about real game clocks, increasing algorithms and overclocking.
In our test, the Ventus 3x metro lasted on average 2654 MHz. The F version lasted at 2736 MHz, through something that seems a bit more thermal envelope and adequate cooling. This is a good example of why these two letters “OC” do not always mean much today – the graphic processor will augment its boundaries on the box, if the buzz is available, and you can easily improve it, because we will deal with now.
I decided on a standard strengthening profile of all my comparative, as if you would like to cross it, you can as well turn up the card. It is basic to do with the RTX Blackwell generation, and here is what I was able to set in MSI Afterburner, without much correction.
- Core clock: +515 MHz
- Memory clock: +800 MHz
With the Nomada 3DMark steel test loop, I could push the surplus of both these shifts, but I discovered that the card would fall quickly as soon as it launches it through the Exodus or F1 24 metro. With the above -mentioned settings, I had a pure course through our tests at 1440p and 4K.
Buy if …
✅ You can get one at a decent price: If you want RTX 5080, you may have to pay for one penny. However, you do not pay for this chance, because it is not worth more than the already inflated price.
Don’t buy if …
❌ You want a granulated element control element: You cannot adjust the power supply profile of this card, so this is basically a copy for solemn processing.
Although I have to report again that the Ventus 3x OC is defeated by Edition Founders, which reached a higher stable core at +525 MHz. Regardless of whether from this extreme overclock or the natural tendency of F in the scope of increasing except at its assessed speeds, it ends a bit better than Ventus 3x OC in most games. Homeworld 3 is a bit protruding, but this game loves a brisk processor and is currently enjoys higher cages with our 9800x3D than before, which can aid in this explanation.
One thing to pay attention to the Ventus 3x OC is that, unlike many other cards, restrictions on power and voltage cannot be adapted here. It is closed. If you want to press the card at a more granular level, you can’t do it here, but it means that hyperkination is as uncomplicated as entering a few digits in the postburner’s shift and seeing it takes. As long as this is a stable, completed task.
We have there, the “OC” card, which works slower than the edition of the founders plot More money at the moment. If we ignore the fact that you cannot easily buy one of these cards today, you should expect to pay about 1300 USD for one. It’s $ 300 more than MSRP Edition Founders Edition. This is not a very attractive proposition.
If I am looking for a silver lining, it can be a card to buy within six months, ensuring demand slowed down, the supply has improved, and AIB adapt the price contributions that hit these things. However, I do not take this plant and I can only review the card in front of me because it is today. This means that this is a decent card and one that I would gladly live in a white compilation of the computer, if I finally did not value.
