Capcom has announced a second open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds ahead of its release date.
The beta includes content from the first beta, but adds the returning Gypceros monster to hunt. You’ll be able to exploit a real estate agent, play a trial version of the story, and complete the Slay Doshaguma quest. Capcom said those who played the first beta can transfer their character to the second beta and then to the full game. However, progress in the game does not carry over, but those who take the test receive special bonuses that can be used in the full game, including a weapon ornament or Seikret and an item pack.
Capcom has warned fans that already announced improvements that will be implemented in the full version will not be included in the second open beta. This includes performance improvements, balance changes, weapon mechanics, and other known issues.
The second open beta for Monster Hunter Wilds will go live on February 6 at 7:00 PM PT and will last until 6:59 PM PT on February 9. If you miss it, don’t worry: the next beta weekend will be next weekend (February 13-16). Monster Hunter Wilds will then launch on February 28.
Monster Hunter Wilds is the subject of the latest IGN First, which kicked off with two brand novel gameplay videos Teach this AND Broken people on Oil well basin map.
