Monster Hunter Wilds receives a PC reference point and fresh system requirements

Published:

Monster Hunter Wilds is only a few weeks venerable, and Capcom issued a PC reference point so that players can check if their system is on a snack. In addition, the computer system requirements have been officially reduced.

As announced during yesterday’s Capcom headlight, PC reference point for Monster Hunter Wilds Live on Steam now. The tool will have to compile some shaders after loading, but besides, it is quite straightforward to start and see where the computer lands. It is worth checking, especially if you are curious how updated system requirements can affect your performance.

PreviouslySystem requirements for hitting 1080p and 60 frames per second (with the frame generation on) required Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super, Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 or AMD Radeon RX 6700XT Graphics; Intel Core i5-11600K, Intel Core i5-12400, AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or AMD Ryzen 5 5500 CPU; and 16 GB of RAM.

IN An updated page next to the comparative testCapcom seems to reduce the requirements. For recommended or 1080p (FHD) with 60 frames per second and the frame generation turned on, here are fresh requirements:

  • AXIS: Windows 10 (64-bit) / Windows 11 (64-bit required)
  • Editor: Intel Core i5-10400 / Intel Core i3-12100 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • Memory: 16 GB
  • Graphics card (GPU): GeForce RTX 2060 Super / Radeon RX 6600 (8 GB VRAM)
  • Storage: 75 GB (SS required)

This should have Hunter Wilds monsters operating on 1080p and 60 frames per second with the frame generation on Capcom. As you may have noticed, it is petite, but still noticeable in the requirements.

Users are Reporting already noticeable benefits for performance In comparative tests compared to the beta test, although this is with the generation of frames on. The steam deck still does not seem likely; While the game platform I tested went through with flying colors, my personal attempt on board did not cause promising results.

Noticable, as well as changes in processing, it is a difference in the size of memory. Earlier, Monster Hunter Wilds called up to 140 GB of available space on its SSD; Now it is 75 GB. How File sizes seem to grow year -on -yearIt is surprising to see such a change.
