If you want to test yourself Wild monster hunters before its February launch, Capcom is ready to conduct an open beta. The company announced official schedule for a round of testing that will begin on October 28 with early access for PlayStation Plus members.
PS Plus members testing on PS5 will have exclusive access until October 30, and on other platforms on October 31. You will be able to spend Halloween night in the world Monster hunter PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam from October 31 to November 3. The beta version will support cross-play between the three platforms.

Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Start Times
PlayStation 5 – exclusive early access to PlayStation Plus:
- Starts: Monday, October 28, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. Polish time
- Ends: Wednesday, October 30 at 19:59 Polish time
PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam (with Crossplay):
- Starts: Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. Polish time
- Ends: Sunday, November 3, 2024 at 18:59 Polish time
According to Capcom’s estimates, the beta version will allow players to tinker with character creation, and the resulting data on Hunter and Palico can be carried over to the full version. There’s also Doshaguma Hunt, which involves defeating the alpha of the Doshaguma pack, and a story trial that includes the opening scene and Chatacabra Hunt with helpful tutorials.
The announcement is complemented by a recent trailer, The Black Flame. This one shows the third location in the Forbidden Lands, the Oil Well Pool.
Wild monster hunters will launch in full on February 28, 2025.
