- Wildlife Studios’ Mistland Saga has reached testing phase
- The game will be available on iOS and Android, but is currently only available in Brazil and Finland
- It’s a real-time action game with RPG elements, vigorous quests and much more
Mistland Saga from Wildlife Studios, their novel action RPG, has just landed on iOS and Android in select regions. The game takes you to the world of Nymir and promises to offer an in-depth RPG experience.
Mistland Saga is currently only in gentle launch in Brazil and Finland, so we may have to wait a bit before we learn more about what that means. However, the App Store description looks very promising, offering vigorous quests, progression, and more, as well as real-time combat and other features.
Since Mistland Saga was released in stealth mode, we may have to wait a bit before we see what Wildlife Studios plans next, but we expect they’ll at least start expanding the gentle launch phase soon.
AFK JourneyWe did notice a few similarities to another recent game, AFK Journey from Lilith Games. Only slightly, though, as Mistland Saga takes a more real-time combat-oriented approach. But if you’re looking for something with a similar isometric viewpoint and exploration gameplay, but don’t go the auto-battler route, Mistland Saga might be for you.
Of course, this isn’t the first game to get a sneaky gentle launch today, as we reported earlier about Sybo’s Subway Surfers City . Could it be that the issues Supercell is struggling with with Squad Busters have sparked a wave of cautious gentle launches? Something to consider, certainly.
