Perrikaryal is a streamer who plays games using a headset that reads electroencephalography (EEG) signals. She graduated Ring of Fire and his The shadow of the Erd tree Addition earlier this year. Now, the streamer has set her signs Black Myth: Wukong and he’s already destroying bosses left, right and centre.
Perrikaryal has defeated several bosses so far Black Myth: Wukong, including Lingxuzi and Guangzhi. This gameplay is very different from its Ring of Fire sessions. PerriKaryal has configured her headset so she can control four buttons with her mind, but this game requires a lot more. To compensate, she uses eye tracking for motion and voice control, so her hands never have to touch the controller or keyboard as she battles every opponent she faces.

Perrikaryal’s is worth checking out Twitch Channel to see all the gameplay so far. I’ve watched a lot of it Ring of Fire gameplay and it seemed magical, but adding voice control doesn’t take anything away from it Black Myuth: Wukong one. It actually elevates the viewing experience as viewers can much better follow what the streamer is trying to accomplish at any given moment.
Something Perrikaryal has used before and is doing again is the gyroscope on her headset. Tilting her head controls her character’s movements, meaning she can release another button to control her mind and move around the game with relative ease.
Even watching her move her head during a boss fight doesn’t seem out of place. When I’m immersed in the game, I move my head the same way because I’m the character in my head. It’s a compact gesture as a viewer, but it makes a massive difference and is another thing the streamer has to constantly think about during gameplay. Every time you move your thumb, she moves her entire head, while maintaining a constant thought or emotion and never taking her eyes off the screen. All of this, and she might even have to give a voice command.
Black Myth: Wukong is an incredibly arduous game to play with a standard controller, but Perrikaryal adds a recent dimension to how she plays it and what her streams consist of. You can see her go through the setup and controller troubleshooting process in every stream, because she does it all live.
Authenticity is part of her brand, which makes sense considering what she does. As of this writing, she still has a decent amount of gameplay left, so it’s worth playing through it now so you can be there when she faces the final boss with only head movements, thoughts, and a voice.
