Ubisoft has launched an open beta of Might and Magic Fatesa Web3-enabled trading card game confirmed to be available on or around December 17, 2025, with initial Android availability narrow to Poland and Ukraine. The beta version integrates zkEVM immutable tokenization for card ownership AND provides global early access to Founder and Keykeeper NFT holders. All achievements and cards you earn now will be included in the final versionpreserving the player’s progress until launch.

The rollout begins as a geo-restricted Android beta in Poland and Ukraine one sec Global early access is granted to NFT Founder and Key Keeper holdersaccording to Ubisoft. Global pre-registration is available for iOS and Android, which means a wider release after the testing period all progress – cards and achievements – will carry over to the full launch.

There has already been some early competitive activity, including a tournament in which Tyler from YGG Esports took first placemeaning the game’s tactical systems can be tested in live match conditions.

Web3 integration and game design selection

The game uses Immutable zkEVM to implement in-chain card ownership by tokenizing them as tradable assets; in this context, zkEVM is a blockchain scaling layer used to record ownership and transactions on-chain. Ubisoft describes the property as purely focused on ownership rather than game-changing, stating that the assets are intended to broadcast “without competitive advantages”whose aim is to limit the pay-to-win dynamics.

Core gameplay retains conventional TCG mechanics: building a deck from hundreds of cards, evolving ia hero units active gold hand mana system which speeds up decisions related to manual management. Classic factions such as Haven, Necropolis, Inferno and Academy return with distinct play patterns, supporting a meta that is set to evolve with recent cards and tournament play.

Market implications for traders and treasuries

Having a tokenized card creates a potential secondary market for collectibles and introduces liquidity at the asset level that cryptocurrency traders and vaults will monitor for price discovery and flow dynamics. Since Ubisoft emphasizes cosmetics rather than in-game power, Market value will likely track scarcity, competitive pedigree and collector demand instead of adjusting the performance itself.

The Might and Magic Fates beta is a balanced step in Ubisoft’s Internet 3 strategy: Limited regional testing, early access for NFT holders, and an on-chain ownership model designed to avoid gameplay imbalances. The next verified milestone is a wider rollout after the beta testing period and a full release following pre-registration.
