Microsoft has added many up-to-date games to the Xbox Game Pass today as part of a stern shock that has increased the highest price level.
As Ign reports, Microsoft raised the Ultimate price from USD 19.99 to USD 29.99 per month, while changing the name and updating the remaining levels. As part of the justification for the enhance in prices, Microsoft added Ubisoft+ Classics for the first time to Ultimate, and the games that are part of this subscription are currently part of Ultimate.
In addition, Warner Bros. “Smash Hit Hogwarts Legacy is now available in Ultimate and New Premium (which replaces the standard), but it is not in a new basic level (which replaces the core).
Premium is available today over 40 new games, including Diablo 4 games and Legacy’s mentioned Hogwarts. Microsoft said that Premium receives new games published by Xbox within a year of their premiere, but, interestingly, it excludes Call of Duty titles. So don’t expect you to play Black Ops 7 -day One as a premium subscriber when it appears in November.
Meanwhile, a selected catalog of over 50 games is necessary, both on the console and on the PC. Essential Library can now be fully played on PC, containing games such as Hades, Cities: Skylines – Remastered, Stardew Valley and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.
