In conjunction with the upcoming release of Marvel’s Deadpool and Wolverine, Microsoft has created a modern Xbox controller in the shape of Deadpool’s butt.
Revealed on Xbox cableThe modern Xbox Wireless Controller is modeled after “Deadpool’s much-talked-about, perfectly rounded butt.”
Microsoft has dubbed this modern Xbox controller the “Cheeky Controller” and said it “mimics Deadpool’s steel buttocks in its sturdy (but surprisingly comfortable) grip.” See it in all its glory in the photo below:
Unfortunately, Microsoft is only giving away this Deadpool-themed Xbox controller to contest winners, as it has done many times with previous eye-catching accessories. Fans aged 18+ worldwide can enter to win this Deadpool collectible by following Xbox on X and retweeting the official Xbox giveaway tweet.
The collaboration has even more to offer: On July 22, the first 1,000 fans who purchase an Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core on the Microsoft Store will receive an exclusive Cable Guys Deadpool controller grip by EXG Pro to “upgrade” their gaming setup.
And a custom Deadpool-themed Xbox Series X and a stand with foam versions of Deadpool, Bea, and Arthur’s katanas, and two Xbox Wireless controllers. This one is also a contest prize.
As for Deadpool & Wolverine , the film’s latest trailer offered a sneak peek at Lady Deadpool and other members of the Deadpool Corps, including Dogpool and Cowboy Deadpool, making their big-screen debuts. Marvel has yet to announce who will play Lady Deadpool.
We’ll have to wait and see what else Deadpool and Wolverine unveil when… premiere July 26 — but if the first 35 minutes are any indication, This could be the movie that reignites the MCU as it comes in second half of phase 5.
