Microsoft has confirmed its November 2024 Xbox Game Pass offering, Wave 1, which includes Metal Slug Tactics, Goat Simulator Remastered, and a slew of StarCraft games.
First of all, on November 5, Metal Slug Tactics (cloud, console and PC) will be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on day one. “Metal Slug is back with lightning speed!” – we read in the official note. “Immerse yourself in this fast-paced tactical RPG with the thrill of a roguelite and experience the iconic run ‘n’ gun action of the original series redefined. Take up arms, assemble your team and conquer the battlefield to defeat the infamous Rebel Army.
November 5 is also a big day for Blizzard’s StarCraft, as more Activision games come to Game Pass following Microsoft’s $69 billion acquisition of the company last year. Both StarCraft: Remastered (PC) and StarCraft II: Campaign Collection (PC) hit Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass on November 5, which should increase interest in the classic sci-fi real-time strategy games.
November 6 is a special day on Game Pass, with four games included in the standard Game Pass subscription: Go Mecha Ball (for console); Harold Halibut (Xbox Series X|S); Changing table (console); and Turnip Boy Robs a Bank (for console).
Fast forward to November 7, and we have the first day release of Goat Simulator Remastered (in the cloud, on PC and Xbox Series X|S) as part of Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. “The GOAT is baaa-ck!” – we read in the official note. “Lick, flip and bang your head in the chaotic sandbox world where you make the rules. Enjoy crazy physics, improved graphics, and classic DLC in one neat package. It’s time to grab life by the horns and go on an adventure!”
