James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo – members of the world-famous band Metallica – enter the virtual stage. From Thursday, the team will be the headliner of the Fortnite festival. Its arrival brings Metallica songs for fans to play, specially themed cosmetic items, and most importantly, a up-to-date PvP mode in case you want to put your rhythm playing skills to the test and compete with others.
Fortnite Festival, a rhythm game available within Fortnite, has hosted pop stars such as The Weeknd and Lady Gaga in the past. Now the theme will be a bit more metal. Epic Games has announced six songs that feature some of Metallica’s popular hits. These titles include: ‘Enter the Sandman’, ‘Fuel’, ‘The Puppet Master’, ‘Ride the Lightning’, ‘Unforgiven’ and ‘Wherever I May Roam’.
As usual, the up-to-date season has introduced a separate Battle Pass for the Fortnite Festival, where players will be able to unlock a variety of cosmetic items through both the free and premium reward tracks. The premium track immediately unlocks Lars Ulrich’s outfit, but you’ll have to play through the battle pass to unlock the other three team members. And if you really want to get into it, alternate versions of each team member’s “Puppet Master” will be available for purchase in the Fortnite Store throughout Season 4. Full list of cosmetics available on the website Fortnite blog.
Chapter 5 Season 4 v Fortnite starts on June 13 and ends on August 16.
