Although Marvel Rivals is still a relatively fresh game, players already dream of gigantic additions. Lately, The rumors have spread a potential boss fightLeading some to speculate that PVE mode is just around the corner. Unfortunately, Netease recently explained that there are no plans for such a mode … yet.
This week, we talked with the producer Marvel Rivals Weicong Wu at the DICE summit in Las Vegas and asked him about all PVE mode plans. It was his answer:
“For now, we don’t have any PVE plan, but our team of programmers is constantly experimenting with new game modes. So if we discovered that the new specific game mode is funny enough, funny enough, of course, we will bring it to our audience. “
After he said, executive producer Marvel Games Danny Koo jumped to ask if I wanted PVE mode in Marvel Rivals, and I told him that yes. Wu continued:
“Yes, we believe that there are some of our recipients who would like PVE mode. But you can also see that if we come up with PVE hardcore experience, it will be a completely different characteristic experience than what we have now. So our programming team is constantly experimenting with different approaches to achieve this goal, perhaps a lighter mode, in a lighter sense, and see what will be best for our game. “
So for now it looks like there are no specific plans for PVE, but Wu seems to suggest that Netease is playing with ideas for a “brighter” game mode, maybe like a one -off event or something similar or something similar. For now, Netease doesn’t say much more.
Marvel Rivals is still updated every year and a half with fresh characters, with a human torch and what is the latest heroes joining the game on February 21. We also talked to Wu and KOO about the possibilities of Nintendo Switch 2 Switch 2, seem to Marvel Rivals, which you can read about here, and we also confronted them about whether they troll Dataaminers with a false “leakage” of the hero in the code.
