Marvel probably doesn’t need to worry about spoilers anymore, because the latest Deadpool and Wolverine trailer is full of them

Marvel was keen to keep the plot details for Spider-Man: No Way Home under wraps, but it seems they aren’t too concerned about the fates of Deadpool and Wolverine.

Listen, I’m going to say this right now: do not watch the latest Deadpool & Wolverine trailer if you plan on seeing it in theaters. I know it’s fun to get excited about a movie you’re looking forward to, especially one as highly anticipated as this one, which is finally coming out next week (and is the only Marvel movie coming out this year). It’s just that there are some really huge spoilers in there that would have been fun reveals for the final movie, and even if there’s some kind of introduction to the future of the MCU in there — isn’t there always — those are moments that will be meaningful to longtime fans, especially Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine. On the other hand, if you don’t care, you can watch the trailer below (oh, and spoiler warning for the trailer content from this point on).

See, the trailer spoils two key things here. First, as it turns out, no, this version of Wolverine is not actually the Fox Wolverine we’ve known for two and a half decades. After all, he hails from another universe, as some fans have wondered, where things went to absolute hell. Another reveal that might have been cold to see in the theater is the fact that Dafne Keen will be reprising her role as X-23 from Logan , a fan-favorite X-Men movie.

Keen was asked if she was involved in the film at all, as she was in the middle of a press tour for her latest project, The Acolyte, where, in classic Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire style, she had to lie a lot about being in it. Why bother when you’re only going to reveal she’s in it a week before it opens? In any case, the film is due out July 26, so you’re not too far away from finding out any remaining secrets.
