Keep Driving, the turn-based RPG about fighting tractors and playing stinking Tetris with pizza, a toilet and the occasional horn, finally has a full release date

February 2025, a month that won’t see many major video game releases (honestly, one of them has since been delayed), it’s just been revealed that another frosty thing is coming that you might want to play. To Keep Driving, a vigorous RPG game in which you fight in turn-based mode while collecting them.

If you’re not familiar with this wonderfully weird game, I played its Steam Next Fest demo last year and only got killed once by a puddle. Essentially, it’s a game about taking a road trip to your spouse’s house, and both you and your car have to overcome the typical hazards of driving and being a human who needs food and sleep along the way.

The full version of Keep Driving has already been written and will be released on February 6 Computer via Steamand Swedish developer YCJY Games revealed it in a nice tweet.

There’s also a modern trailer which, of course, includes snippets of turn-based car fights with tractors, sheep and potholes, while also giving you a sneak peek at some extra cars that you’ll be able to fill with all the stuff that you, your car and any hitchhikers you pick up, they will have to survive and thrive. I liked this demo, not quite Volvo, but I’d be lying if I said the idea of running around in a pickup truck didn’t appeal to my inner Johnny Cash fan.

As I mentioned earlier, Keep Driving is only on PC for now, but one of its creators suggested it answer that it will be coming to consoles at some point, writing that they are “not sure which consoles other than Switch yet.” Come on guys, a PS2 port so I can easily switch between this and Need For Speed Underground.

In the meantime, I hope the full version of Keep Driving enhances the atmosphere I loved the first time around.
