Karate Kid: Street Rumble returns to the past in a pixel-style fighting game

Time to wax and epilate to improve your fighting skills because Karate Kid: Street Fight coming to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on September 20, 2024. This retro-style fighting game recreates scenes and sounds from the original film trilogies in a pixelated style.

That beat them, like TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge and upcoming Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind has stunning 16-bit graphics. Fittingly, it will also have a chiptune soundtrack.

Karate Kid: Street Fight will feature 12 levels with up to four-player local co-op. You can play as Daniel Russo, Mr. Miyagi, Kumiko, and Ali Mills. Confirmed bosses that will challenge you along the way include Johnny Lawrence, John Kreese, and Terry Silver. Let’s hope fear doesn’t exist in your gaming room.

Confirmed levels for the game include Topanga Beach, West Valley High, Cobra Kai Dojo, and All-Valley Tournament. We’ll also venture to Okinawa.

It’s worth remembering that this comes from publisher GameMill Entertainment, which doesn’t have the best history. The last adaptation in this series Cobra Kai 2: Rising Dojo, currently has Rating 41% on Steam based on just 41 user reviews.
