Jurassic World Evolution 3 – Introducing the island generator

Published:

Create an infinite number of unique islands where prehistoric animals will live Jurassic World of Evolution 3Island generator. The Island Generator will be available to players in-game upon launch on October 21 on PlayStation Store, and pre-orders are now open.

A powerful recent feature in sandbox mode will allow players to create completely custom island layouts on which they can build their comprehensive parks.

Park managers will have control over the shape and terrain of the island, as well as the amount of trees, water and mountains, giving them the tools to create endless, unique tropical islands with the tap of a slider.

The island generator also includes a full range of sandbox settings so park managers can build, manage and control every aspect of their parks.

Each island layout will have an island DNA code, so players will be able to share their island’s concepts and settings. By entering other players’ island DNA codes, they will be able to recreate other player-created islands. Players will also be able to upload parks to Frontier Workshop to share their creations with the community.

We’re very excited to bring the island generator to Jurassic World Evolution 3. It’s a feature we’ve wanted to implement for a long time, and thanks to the amazing new environment tools we’ve developed for JWE3, we’re finally able to do it justice. Not only does this feature give players an endless variety of sandbox maps, but the ability to share Parks on the Frontier Workshops means that people around the world can see how you’ve developed your own unique starting point into a truly iconic park. We also love that players can use Monorail and Hyperloop transportation systems to connect and expand their park to smaller islands that may have been created away from the mainland. The potential for elaborate and creative island parks is now greater than ever, and we can’t wait to see what players do with these tools when the game launches

Jurassic World Evolution 3 on PlayStation 5 Pro

Building on the success of the previous game, Jurassic World Evolution 3 pushes the boundaries with recent and improved graphics technology. The Frontier team has been working on completely recent console technology to provide gamers with the best possible experience.

PlayStation 5 Pro offers gamers incredible image quality with PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) and Ray Traced solar shadows. PSSR delivers exceptionally keen, clear images with an extraordinary level of detail.

Without Ray Traced solar shadows, shadows cast by leaves and dinosaurs are darker and interact less realistically with the surroundings.

Ray Traced Sun Shadows adds a great depth of realistic detail, and shadows cast by leaves and dinosaurs appear softer.

Ray Traced Sun Shadows is a recent addition to the Jurassic World Evolution series, made possible on console thanks to the PlayStation 5 Pro’s enhanced graphics processor and advanced ray tracing. Ray Traced Sun Shadows delivers exact shadow penumbra by using ray tracing technology to enhance shadow quality, making subtle details even more noticeable than before.

Without Ray Traced sun shadows, colors are brighter but have less contrast, and shadows are more detailed but behave less realistically.

Ray-traced solar shadows have a more exact penumbra, softening shadows cast by leaves and scenery.

This means that sun shadows in Jurassic World Evolution 3 are very keen near the object casting the shadow and become blurrier further away, much like shadows in real life. This is one of two Ray Tracing features on the console, and Ray Traced Global Illumination is also available on PlayStation 5.

When you turn off Ray Traced sun shadows, the shadows cast on the Psittacosaurus, as well as the shadows of the dinosaurs themselves, are sharper and more solid.

When ray tracing sun shadows are turned on, shadows behave more naturally, adding a great depth of realistic detail.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 will premiere on October 21, and can be pre-ordered now on the PlayStation Store.
