It was a long way for a medieval city builder FoundationBut after six years it will start with early access and to version 1.0. I tried it for the first time in 2019 and quickly became one of my favorite, lovely and nippy builder, to whom I return from time to time to see what’s up-to-date.
And there are many up-to-date in update 1.0. So much that the Polymorph Games programmer says: “This may seem a new game!” The update includes a up-to-date main menu and a converted interface, many difficulties in adjusting the impression, the editor to create and adapt your own village banner, up-to-date levels of residential buildings, improved progression system and many others. Even art was moved to the premiere. Here Full notes of patches.
If you played in the Foundation in early access, there is some bad news: the game has changed so much that your cities will not be compatible with version 1.0. However, it is not lost: Polymorph claims that you can undo the game to version 0.9 in Beta Steam options, which will allow you to continue to build older cities. Only warn: “The older version 1.9 will probably not receive any updates and can eventually be closed.”
I am not worried too much about my non -existent cities: it was built well, but a huge part of pleasure in the city builder starts from scratch, and the premiere of the Foundation 1.0 seems to be an ideal excuse to start building again.
