That’s right, there is a secret ending Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veiltaking the form of a post-credits scene.
To unlock the post-credits scene, you need to collect three Mysterious Circles around Thedas. It doesn’t matter how the game or ending ends Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil takes place in your game, an additional story-filled post-credits scene will play if you collect them all.

How to unlock the secret post-credits scene in Dragon Age: The Veilguard
The secret ending here is separate from the three endings you can get to Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil. This is an extra post-credits scene that takes place regardless of which ending you get.
To get to the post-credits scene, you need to find three entries in the Mysterious Circle codex, which aren’t part of any side quest and don’t really tell you that you’ve done anything special.
- Arlathan Forestby solving the Waterfront Glades chest puzzle
- Crossroadsby completing the “Heart of Corruption” side quest.
- Necropolis Hallsby completing the “Peak of Its Kind” side mission.

How to get the Mysterious Circle in Arlathan Forest
In Coastal clearing region Arlathan Forestyou can spot a glowing chest on an inaccessible island. To get there, you need to direct three (technically four) beams of featherlight at three crystals on the island.
Go around the cliffs surrounding the island to find three (four – one is a beam that you need to point at another beam to activate it). Each person can only point to one crystal, so there’s no trick to it.
Once all the beams are blocked, a bridge will form leading to the chest and, more importantly, the first one Mysterious circle.
How to get the Mysterious Circle at the Crossroads
“Heart of Corruption” is a game-long mission that you will undertake at the beginning of your exploration of the world Crossroads.
First you need to find some Masters and operate them Essences to open three plague doors at the Crossroads:
- Gate of Deep Sorrows – Desmal, Blood-Bound to Elgar’nan in Treviso
- Gate of Pale Reflections – Amarell Unknown in the Hossberg wetlands
- Gate of Burnt Hope – Entarus Rekindled in Arlathan Forest
Opening this door will lead you to fight three of them Returned at the Crossroads:
- Gate of Deep Sorrows – Felassan’s betrayal
- Gate of Pale Reflections – The slaughter of the pillars
- Gate of Burnt Hopes – Entarus Rekindled

After the fight, you’ll head south to find your reward and a dock for the Keeper’s boat. But before you go, look to the southeast. There is a ruined wall you can climb. Go up the stairs and go around to the right to find it Mysterious circle.
How to get the Mysterious Circle in the Necropolis Halls
Once you recruit Emmrich to your team in the Necropolis, you will receive the “Restless Spirits” quest. Doing this will lead you to a mysterious closed door and the next task, “A pinnacle of its kind.”
In this quest, you will have to face three demons – one in Arlathan Forest, one in Dock Town and one in Hossberg Wetlands. Once they are all defeated, you can return to the Necropolis Halls and face them The Shapelesswho of course becomes an undead dragon.

After defeating the Shapeless, there are three diminutive alcoves outside the arena where you can collect loot. The one you’re looking for is located to the southwest, to the left of the two main chests that unlock after defeating the dragon.
Enter the alcove to collect Mysterious circle.
Dragon Age: Guardian of the Veil post-credits scene
