At Sony Interactive, we’re always looking for opportunities to bring some of our most beloved PlayStation games closer to our players – and that includes bringing to life a collection of physical products that can be added to your home décor. Today, we’re excited to reveal a fresh partnership with Spin Master, a leading toy company, to introduce The Shapes Collection – a fresh line of collectibles based on our hit PlayStation Studios titles. Featuring iconic characters from God of War Ragnarök, Horizon Forbidden West and Ghost of Tsushima.

Highly detailed figures bring an interactive element to the storytelling of these titles in a whole fresh way, extending the gaming experience from digital to physical. This imaginative line draws inspiration from the details of each game, with interchangeable accessories and dozens of points of articulation to pose and display each figure in your memorabilia collection.

The game developers at PlayStation Studios have worked closely to create this imaginative fresh collection of games from Spin Master and have shared with the PlayStation community the details that excite them most.

“It was a great pleasure to work with Spin Master to create the Aloy and Varl figures.

They are based on the actual digital sculpts used in the game, and it really shows in the final product. We made sure that many of the points of articulation made sense, and even the smallest texture details were perceptible on the figures.

A personal highlight was the ability to give Aloy a variety of facial expressions, which, along with the multiple points of articulation (even her hair has some!) makes her a very posable figure. Also, the technique used to apply the colour to the faces meant that we were really able to maintain the likeness of the real models, which was very critical and adds a lot of appeal to these figures.”

“We are thrilled to have a new Jin action figure that fans can keep on their shelf to protect their home. Jin’s ghost armor has so much beautiful detail, including intricate fabric patterns and overlapping armor plates that are integral to his character’s design. In addition to his katana, it is always important for us to see all of his different ghost tools depicted to capture his different fighting techniques.”
