Digital fitness platform STEP recently integrated the Ubisoft Rabbids brand into two separate events. The partnership resulted in a series of limited-edition animated sneaker NFTs that users can mint and employ. The project combined the characteristic humor of the Rabbids with the functional usability of the interior STEP app.

From October 28 to November 2 this year Rabbids transformed STEPN’s social media presence and app landscape. During this period, each novel Sneaker Mint had a 50% chance of generating one of four Halloween-themed Rabbid sneakers.

The choices were Zombie Walker, Ghost Jogger, Monster Runner and Pumpkin Trainer. Each digital sneaker retained its full utility in terms of earning in-app rewards through user movement, despite its unconventional appearance.

The second release took place via the Raffle Mint system

A later event took place November 10–13 on the mooar.com market. This release included 200 animations Genesis sneakers. Users took part in a lottery with tickets priced at 9,000 GMT each. The platform has refunded all GMT prices for tickets that were not selected in the selection process.

Winning participants received one of four newly designed, animated sneakers created using Ubisoft’s Rabbids team. The designs depicted scenarios such as a Rabbid made up of other Rabbids and a model caught in a toilet paper ambush.

The partnership introduced novel animated assets

As part of the cooperation, a total of eight different ones were created Sneakers with a rabbid motif. All sneakers from the second edition of the lottery were fully animated. For example, the Genesis model featured yellow graffiti stickers.

These digital assets are fully functional within the framework STEP ecosystem. Owners can employ them for walking, jogging or running to generate rewards. The project was a direct intersection with mainstream entertainment intellectual property.
