How to catch Infinity Nikki insects?
To catch bugs in Infinity Nikki, you must first unlock the outfit with the bug catching ability, Afternoon Shine. You unlock this outfit in the first chapter of the main story.
Once you’ve unlocked Afternoon Glow, you can equip your skill wheel with the Bug Catch ability to easily switch between it and other skill outfits. While equipped with this ability outfit, hold the ability button to stealthily approach the bug. When the web glows pink, release the button to successfully capture the bug.
How to get Infinity Nikki Insect Essence?
Some insects can also provide something called essence, which is needed to complete certain sketches. To get the essence, you need to upgrade your bug catching ability in the Infinity Heart skill tree. There are three different nodes that allow you to obtain Bug Catching Essence in different parts of Miraland, each of which costs Bug Catching Insight, trinkets, and fancy stars – but you must unlock them in the correct order.
Once you have unlocked specific nodes in the Infinity Heart, you will be able to obtain essence by catching specific insects in the appropriate areas. Here are all kinds of Infinity Nikki Insect Essence:
- The essence of Wiztle
- Socka essence
- The essence of Chimecada
- Flower beetle essence
- The essence of strength
How to track insects with Infinity Nikki?
Once you have collected the insect, you can track it on the in-game map. You can do this by opening your map, selecting the book icon in the lower left corner of the screen, heading to the tab with the bug icon, and finding the bug you want to track in the list. Then just press the “Follow” button and the game will highlight the closest location on your map.
The highlighted location will then appear on both your main map and the minimap. Once you have collected all the insects in the marked area, the game will highlight different locations until you have collected them all. If you want to cancel tracking, you can open the map and press the “x” button next to the tracking message.
How to unlock Infinity Nikki’s precision insect tracking?
Once you collect a certain number of each insect, you can unlock its precise tracking. With precision tracking, instead of the tracking feature highlighting an uneven area on a map, it pinpoints specific insect locations, making them easier to hunt.
Depending on the quality of the bug, you need to collect 50, 30 or ten of them to unlock their precision tracking. You can check your progress at any time by going to the in-game map, opening the collection book, selecting an insect and checking the number at the bottom of the window.
This is all we have for Infinity Nikki insects, but we will be sure to add any modern bugs that appear in Miraland in future Infinity Nikki updates.
