“If this does not sell, there will be no next”: Remake producer

Published:

Ah, a classic strategy for informing fans to buy the upcoming game – or simply will not be another.

In this way, the Warriors Koei Tecmo 3 dynasty is approaching: The complete edition remastered.

Remaster – which is Really More a remake – was announced during the last status of the game, to publish in March 2026.

This awakening, which for some was a shock, because many fans theoretically decided that the developer would decide to convert more popular Warriors 4 dynasties or Dynasty Warriors 5.

But from 3, with a slightly simpler design, it has a certain degree, taking into account the attitude of the Tomohiko Sho series manufacturer.

In an interview with the Japanese store Denfaminicogamer (As translated Machine), SHO explains that the transformation of the PS2 title is actually a surprisingly steep undertaking – especially when the goal is to transfer everything to a modern engine and introduce various gameplay improvements.

He says “really difficult to achieve.”

But because development is such an effort, SHO admits that the remake of Dynasty Warriors 3 must sell if there is hope for future remake projects.

“If this game has failed, it will not be next, so we are looking forward to your support,” he states rather ruthlessly.

SHO also confirms that at the time of the interview there are no other plans for additional modifications or remasters. We suppose it’s all.
