Alienware has just announced a few up-to-date games laptops that run “Aurora” and have a fairly uncomplicated and pure design. We are talking about rounded corners, a single, uncomplicated logo, “chanted” (inclined) front edge for one -handed opening and without a thermal shelf at the back.
I like it very much, but I know that some think that such a minimalist style is dull. I must admit that these laptops are not minimalistic by non-GRA standards Alienware Standards? They are as modest as possible. Their design is quite a massive departure from the usual MO.
Laptops follow the “AW30” design language disclosed at the beginning of this year, which is “inspired by extraterrestrial phenomena” (for Alienware? You don’t say). According to AlienwareThis is “a new design language … created to cause a sense of mystery and transcendence that are undeniably foreign.”
Things, however, become a bit misleading when Alienware says it is Laptopes of the area 51 Turn on the AW30 design language, and yet the company wants to distinguish them from the up-to-date Aurora line:
Regardless of the wider strategy, with these Aurora laptops – Alienware 16 Aurora and Alienware 16x Aurora – we know what we get on the design front. At the front of the 16x specification, it looks like a stronger version from up to 64 GB (instead of 32 GB) RAM DDR5, newer ultra chips, RGB (and not single) and 240 Hz (instead of 120 Hz). However, Non-X will offer more options than RTX 5060/70, 16x, at least on the bottom, up to RTX 3050.

If thermal is a problem, especially considering the lack of a thermal shelf protruding with the screen hinge, Alienware assures us that this “thermal package” is now under the device. “It strategically uses this unused space in which the high rear foot would normally be. Kryokower solution, this solution helps maximize the intake of air flow and efficiently excrete heat through strategically placed ventilation holes.”
I know that not everyone is in such uncomplicated designs, but I’m a bit of a loser. The color scheme of the “inter -wing indigo”, the speaker with the headlamp on the board and the rounded edges go to me in all the right places. Although a lot will depend on what the prices look like, because now we know that “choose the Alienware Aurora laptops configuration will be launched at EMEA on May 27, 2025, starting from 899 pounds” and “additional models will appear shortly afterwards.”
The initial price tells us little, considering that the configurations will fall from the RTX 3050. We will have to wait and see. They should be testing at PAX EAST this weekend at stand No. 12019 if someone has a sense of look.
