During the open beta phase, Omeda Studios added a ranked mode, a combat mode, and two recent heroes: Terra and Aurora. Balance improvements were also made and recent skins were added. The predecessor has 35 playable characters, each with their own skills and abilities. The game was also developed in Unreal Engine 5 and supports cross-platform play. Skins can also be purchased in-game with in-game currency. The most crucial details are below.

  • Truly Unique Gameplay – Combining MOBA elements with third-person shooter/brawler mechanics, Predecessor delivers a thrilling experience that other MOBA games lack, while rewarding teamwork and strategy in a way that many shooter developers lack.
  • Over 35 Playable Characters – Predecessor’s extensive character roster includes over 30 unique heroes, each with their own playstyle and abilities.
  • The Only Unreal Engine 5 MOBA Game – Built on Unreal Engine 5, Predecessor is the only MOBA game to be developed on the latest Unreal Engine. This recent, cutting-edge game engine generates high-resolution, high-fidelity graphics for current and previous generation consoles.
  • Play with friends no matter where they are – Predecessor is designed with both console and PC gamers in mind, with cross-platform play so friends can play together no matter what platform they’re on.
  • Earn In-Game Content – The previous version offers a ton of rewards, including custom skins that players can earn or purchase with in-game currency.
