The Ranked mode Down Marvel Rivals formally called competitive queueI. Here you can really test your strength and prove yourself against other players. But Marvel Rivals‘ Ranked mode is not available immediately after starting the game.
Including Marvel Rivals guide, we will walk you through it how to unlock ranked modehow competitive queue works and what you get for participating in it.
How to unlock ranked mode in Marvel Rivals
To unlock the ranked playlist in Marvel Rivals, you must reach account level 10. Depending on how you do, it will probably take you in between 25 to 40 quick matches. Since fast-paced matches live up to their name, this could take less than five hours in-game, but probably much closer to three or four.
Once you unlock Competitive Mode, it’s unlocked forever and you can jump into each season to showcase your talent.
How Ranked Mode works in Marvel Rivals
There are several differences between Quick Play and Ranked.
For example, each match will allow both teams to play offense and defense in a mode like Convoy, with the winner determined by who reaches the furthest. Most modes try to remove some of the randomness offered by quick play, ensuring that both sides have an almost equal chance of winning at the beginning of the match.
By winning games in a competitive playlist, you will receive points. As you earn more points and climb through the levels, you will eventually advance to a modern rank, such as going from bronze to silver or from gold to platinum. You will also lose points if you lose a match (unless you win the SVP award for your team). You can only group and match with players who have a rank adjacent to you. Thus, a silver player can play with bronze or gold players, but not with platinum players.
From lowest to highest rank they are as follows:
- Brown
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
- Grandmaster
- Eternity
- One above all
Starting with Eternity, you will no longer have levels for your rank, and instead you will simply accumulate points as you play which will allow you to reach that level One above all (top 500) place. Eternity is the only rank where your points will start to decrease if you don’t play long enough.
Rewards for ranked play in Marvel Rivals
As you climb, you will unlock specific rewards for your account. Starting with gold, you will receive a special ranked skin. During the game’s pre-season (season 0) it is: Gold Moon Knight skin called the Golden Moonlight. You can unlock some of them at the Grandmaster style for your nameplate to show how good you are. And if you make it to One Above All and are among the top 500 players at the end of the season, you’ll get an even better image on your nameplate.
Your rewards depend on the highest rank you have achieved in a given seasonso even if you win gold and lose until you get bumped to silver, you’ll still get the special skin when the season ends.
