How to Get a JAK Slash Aftermarket Cap Modern War 3 Season 5
To unlock JAK Slash, you must first complete any five weekly challenges available to you. This can be done through the game MW3 Multiplayer, Zombies, or Battle Royale modes. Each mode has a set of different challenges you can complete to unlock them. All of these challenges count toward the required five, regardless of the game mode.
In the case of JAK Slash I recommend completing everything I have in MW3 Multiplayer, because the challenges there are super quick to complete and straightforward to do. There are a few that can be completed with one or two weapon sets, which is very convenient if you want to unlock them quickly. These are the ones I focused on.
- Get 25 kills using hip shots
- Kill 20 operators with silenced weapons or throwing knives.
- Get 10 hip kills on operators using combat rifles
- Get 30 operator kills in quick succession after sprinting with SMGS
- Kill 10 operators with the butt of your gun
I used Sidewinder Battle Rifle and Super 46 SMG for all of these challenges, only changing their attachments when necessary. The process was quite miniature thanks to the overlap that these challenges allow.
How robust is JAK Slash in Modern War 3 Season 5?
The JAK Slash attachment functions similarly to a melee attack when you have a Throwing Knife equipped in the Lethal slot. This is the biggest advantage of this part, considering you don’t have to waste a slot on a Breacher or Throwing Knife equip to get a one-hit melee attack. The attachment also gives you a miniature raise to movement speed, sprint speed, and vertical knockback at the cost of a miniature decrease to Hiptfire spread and Tac Stance spread.
The biggest downside to the JAK Slash is that it takes up the Underbarrel slot. For many weapons, this isn’t a huge deal, but depending on what you’re looking for, this downside may not be worth it. Overall, it’s a very solid attachment that will find some exploit depending on the weapon it’s equipped to, although I don’t expect it to be common in the meta.
