How to Unlock Exotic Choir of One Catalysts in Destiny 2

This One Exotic Catalyst Choir are locked behind a chain of tasks in Destiny 2 called “//Choir: Eternal.” You must fill out “Bis”An exotic mission that you must gain access to and then find a series of secret chests to complete.

In this Destiny 2 guide, we will teach you how to unlock Catalyst for maintenance for Choir of One and where to find the three secret chests in the exotic mission “Encore” (out of seven secret chests).

Note: Like most Exotic missions, the rest of the Catalysts for Choir of One are time-limited for the next few weeks. We’ll update this guide with details on how to obtain them Destabilizing missiles AND Attack Catalysts and the four remaining secret chests in “Encore” as they become available.

After completing the “Encore” mission and progressing further in the quest, you can talk to Banshee-44 in the Tower and will give you “//Choir: Eternal” quest. This quest requires you to find the first secret chest in the “Encore” mission and then complete the mission on Expert difficulty.

If Banshee doesn’t have a quest when you visit him, collect the secret chests we’ve listed below and complete the quest on Expert difficulty. “//Chorus: Eternal” has a retrograde natureand you will be able to obtain the Masterpiece of Life even if you did not have this quest in your inventory when you performed these steps.

During your first playthrough of the “Encore” mission in Destiny 2you will collect NES007 sample when you get to Maja’s lab. Continue “Rising Chorus: Act III” task to complete the Specimen research, which will earn you the Conductor’s Imprint Codes research instrument from Failsafe. This will allow you to return to the “Encore” Exotic mission and unlock new secrets.

Load into the Encore mission (Expert is not required to find the chests, but if you want to get the Catalyst, you can) and proceed until you are just before the first puzzle. Instead of going right towards the CONNECTION node, go left.

You’ll find yourself in a room full of dead portals and a spire switch. Access the switch and the room will start to come alive. Eventually, a bunch of cubes will appear in the sky above where the spire was. Wait for a smaller cube to appear under one of the larger ones. This little cube is an indicator of which way to shoot first. Shoot the cubes in the correct order—by knocking out the one above the small cube, then waiting for the indicator to reappear—until you’ve destroyed all four. This will complete the first sync.

The cubes will then move to four portals in the room. Again, be patient and wait for the small cube to appear and guide you. Destroy all four in the correct order to fully awaken Auxiliary Transit Nexus and get the first secret chest.

When you reach the second puzzle room, before you take the elevator to the first portal node, you’ll see another access spire appear in the middle of the path (assuming you’ve completed the first secret chest and unlocked the nexus). Access it to open a portal on the right that will take you back to the hub. Enter the nexus and take the second portal on the left to return to the very beginning of the mission.

Near Radiolaria Falls you will find another spire you can reach. Do so and it will appear several brown plates around the arena so you can shoot them. To find them all, follow the faint white lines that connect each plate to the spire itself. Whenever you see a plate, shoot it with any weapon.

There are five plates to shoot down in total, and while none of them are hidden, they can be found at the back of a building or facing away from the spire. You have 90 seconds to get them all, which is more than enough time in this small arena.

Once you reach the final plate, you will earn the “Vector Extension” triumph, receive additional loot, and receive Command Frame 2Improved Intrinsic perk for the Choir of Unity.

Continue the mission until you reach the very end, just before entering the boss arena. In Maja’s office, Ishtar Research Centeryou will find another spire if you activated the first secret chest. Go to it, access it, and a portal will appear at the back of the room. Go inside and go through the transit nexus to the portal through the room. Take it, and you will appear in the Aberrant Code Containment area.

In front of you are five portals, a bunch of ACCESS nodes, and two ACCESS modules. Above you, you’ll notice five purple blobs, some of which are shielded and have lasers aimed at them. Cut out all five purple spots before any of them respawn, so they’re all dead at once. They seem to be on a timer, which makes doing this in a group much more efficient.

To break them, all you have to do is shoot them. The problem is that you can’t shoot through the ceiling or through their square shields. So you have to go through the portals to get a line of sight to the ones without shields first, which will cause the shields around the others to disappear. Another problem is that the portals are all mixed up and not directly related to the purple blob above them.

When you place an ACCESS module on an ACCESS node, it will light up the portal next to it. However, the portal will send a line to one of the red diamonds above the other portals in the room and light it up. This shows where the portal will actually take you. So for example, if portal #1 is the leftmost portal and you activate it, it will draw a line to portal #4, which is the fourth portal from the left. Going through portal #1 will put you above portal #4.

Through trial and error, figure out where each portal connects. Once you do, look at the ceiling to see which purple blobs are uncovered and teleport your allies to the appropriate locations to deal with them. Once you destroy all the blobs at once, a secret chest will appear in the center of the room.

The only other thing you need to worry about in this area is the legion of Vex that spawn here. They aren’t too difficult unless you’re alone or on Expert difficulty, in which case you should slow down to deal with them, or have a dedicated person to remove the attachments.
