The spooky season may be over, but Monopoly Go players must muster up the courage to go ghost hunting in an all-new Haunted mansion event that started this week.
Similar to Partner Events and Race Events, the Haunted Mansion requires players to team up with in-game friends or strangers to earn a variety of rewards.
Once you’ve assembled your team, the action begins. But how to play in Monopoly Go Haunted Mansion Event? If you want to take part in this event, which is the beginning of a modern one Adventure Club event category, here’s all you need to know.

How to start the Haunted Mansion event
To start the Haunted Mansion event, you must team up with eight other players. To do this, simply tap the center of the board where there is a plus icon and empty spaces for player profiles. On the next screen, tap the plus icon to see suggested players you can add to your team. If you don’t manage to form a team with eight other players before the event starts, don’t worry, Monopoly Go will automatically add outstanding players to your team.
Currency of the Haunted Mansion event
Once you’ve created your team, you’ll want to start collecting currency for the Haunted Mansion event. As with other similar Monopoly Go events, there is an event-specific currency that you must collect to advance in the Haunted Mansion. This time, the currency looks like a compass with a capital letter M. You can earn this key currency by earning Quick Wins, using a free gift that renews every eight hours in the Monopoly Go store, and completing other events.
How to play the Haunted Mansion event
Once you’ve assembled your party and collected the currency, you can head to the Haunted Mansion once the event starts. The event consists of different levels, and each level has milestones and goals that must be achieved before you can advance to the next level. To complete them, you’ll need to tap objects to trigger activities, which requires you to apply collected currency and play a card-based mini-game.
This card-based mini-game, similar to Blackjack, is key to your progress in the event. Each time you play this mini-game, you are given a choice of three sets of two random cards, each with a number attached to it. For example, suppose the number 18 is next to the selected option. The numbers on the cards drawn must add up and exceed a certain number. For this example, the number of cards drawn will be 19 or more.
Each time you successfully draw a card, the progress bar increases and you get closer to completing one of the milestones for that particular level. The deck you draw cards from also changes depending on whether you’re on a winning streak or not, and there are plenty of upgrades available that can augment your chances of success. Additionally, there are treasures scattered throughout the mansion that only one player can get. Eventually you will face the ghost haunting the mansion and try to defeat it.
Haunted Mansion Rewards
There are many rewards available in the Haunted Mansion event, including free dice and more to earn. Rewards are grouped into tiers that unlock as you progress through the event.

The grand prize, available in the sixth prize tier, includes the recently released trade pack, which allows players to select and re-draw stickers after opening the pack. The main prize is also a modern Grumpy Ghost token.
When does the Haunted Mansion event end?
The Haunted Mansion event is available in Monopoly Go for a confined time only. It started on Thursday, December 12, 2024 and will end on Tuesday, December 17, 2024. Stay tuned though, Haunted Mansion is the start of a modern category of Adventure Club events, so similar events should be happening at a later date.
