So you have your free 4 star Natlan character. Congratulations! Kachina is a Geo character in Genshin Influence which is incredibly helpful in exploring Natlan. Here’s how to play Genshin Impact Kachina, both for moving around the game world and for combat.
How to Ride the Kachina Exercise
Kachina’s ability summons a miniature drilling car called Turbo Twirly. Simply Pressing the Skill button summons it as a separate unit. Kachina can then switch places with other characters, leaving Turbo Twirly to deal periodic area damage to Geo.
If you want Kachina to stay on the field, hold the skill button to summon Turbo Twirly and jump inside. You can then ride around using normal directional inputs. Bumping into a wall will cause Turbo Twirly to attach and start climbing. This is a great way to climb enormous vertical surfaces while saving stamina!
Using Normal Attack while riding Turbo Twirly will deal an instance of AoE Geo damage. Use this to damage enemies or interact with puzzle pieces scattered throughout Natlan. Kachina and Turbo Twirly are basically alternatives to using Tepetlisaur. Anytime you can utilize Tepetlisaur to climb walls or break ores, you can utilize Kachina to do the same.
While Turbo Twirly is on the pitch, Kachina can utilize its Skill again to mount or dismount Turbo Twirly. This is a good way to reposition the Turbo Twirly if needed.
How to Play Kachina in a Team
Kachina has great utilize in the outside world, but you may want to utilize her in a team as well. Kachina works well with other Geo team members, such as Navia, Noelle, or Itto. In these teams, Kachina will be in an off-field role. Click Kachina’s ability to summon Turbo Twirly, utilize her Burst, then switch to your party members. Turbo Twirly deals minor damage and generates Geo particles for your teammates.
In a more energetic role you can utilize Kachina Blast, then hold Skill. You can then ride around spamming Normal Attacks to deal Geo damage to nearby enemies. Kachina’s damage may not be particularly high, but you can supplement it with off-field DPS units like Albedo and Xiangling.
