The mod will not work with copies of Fallout 4 purchased from the Epic Games store at launch, so you have to buy it either on GOG.com — which distributes the mod — or on Steam.

You’ll probably need at least around 60GB of free space on the drive you’re planning on using to install the mod, if you want to be secure, considering GOG has stated that it’s “over 40GB to download.” As for the next steps, well, that depends on which store you bought your copy of Fallout 4 from, and here they are, directly from GOG itself.

If you want play Fallout: London with your copy of Fallout 4 on Steamyou will need to revert your game to a previous update that is compatible with Fallout: London.

This involves going through the process of downloading each part of the elderly 1.10.163.0 Fallout 4: GOTY Edition, deleting the current files, and then copying the downloaded files to your current Fallout 4 installationHere are the steps you need to follow:

Now, Delete everything in the current Fallout 4: GOTY Edition installation folder and replace it with everything in the downloaded Steam library folder (more details on where to find it below).

Then you can install Fallout: London via GOG GALAXY and run it. Follow the launcher instructions and have fun!

These modern files will be downloaded to your Steam Library folder (by default this is “C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscontentsapp_377160“) in separate depot folders. For example, the Fallout 4 executable will be in a folder named “depot_377162”.

Once you’re done, you’ve built the entire previous version of Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition. Now simply delete everything in your current Fallout 4: GOTY Edition install folder and replace it with everything in this folder.
