Consumables are one of the most underrated features Ring of Fire (and perhaps all FromSoftware games.) Players often overlook these items because the buffs they provide are short-lived and inconvenient to apply in combat. But if you put in the extra effort to craft these items, the game can become a lot less daunting than it otherwise would be.
The shadow of the Erd tree introduces the strongest damage resistant consumables in the game. Seven volumes Forager Brood Cookbooks learn the recipes for the novel line of defensive consumables along with two consumables. If you want to raise your survivability in Ring of Fire (who wouldn’t?), this guide will tell you how to obtain each of the Forager Brood cookbooks and what recipes they unlock.
How to Get All Seven Forager Brood Cookbooks Ring of Fire
Before you begin, it’s worth noting that you can be stripped of your ability to obtain Forager Brood cookbooks if Moore dies at any point in his questline. So if Moore is already dead on your save, you won’t be able to obtain any of the cookbooks. You should also make sure you don’t attack any of the non-hostile pests you encounter in Realm of Shadow, as these entities give you the cookbooks.
