Basically, dried fur is a material used to craft items such as the fur rug or certain sets such as the Explorer Set and the Adventurer Set. Even though it is a material, you also need it to make dried fur. Here are the required items needed to craft it:

  • Dish dryer
  • Animal fur
  • Salt

First you need to craft a Drying Rack, which will require you to have 10 logs and 6 strings. You can also craft a Dish Drying Machine by talking to the Hunter. You can obtain wood logs by cutting trees and strings, crafting them from plant fibers.

Secondly, you need one animal fur and three salts. To get animal fur, you simply have to kill the animals and rob them to get their fur. Remember that not all animals will provide you with animal fur. But compared to Salt, it is very accessible.

Salt is basically a resource that can be mined and can be used not only to craft dried fur, but also to add spices to the Farmer’s recipe. To get this item, simply go to Enshrouded Valleys. The best salt mine you can go to is located northeast of the first base location. Once you find both items, you can employ them to craft dried fur.
