Agreement is a team-based shooter where you and a group of other players battle the enemy team using characters from a huge and intriguing universe. The action is fun and frantic, but can be hampered when a character information overlay error occurs.
Choosing your hero in Agreementyou can look through information about them and their abilities and get a good idea of how you should be playing to take full advantage of everything they have to offer. While this is great, it’s really just a pain in the ass if it pops up when you jump into a match after selecting them. Luckily, there’s a pretty simple way to fix this bug when it does pop up that doesn’t involve restarting the entire game and the platform you’re playing on.
How to fix character info overlay error in Agreement
To fix the character information overlay bug in Agreementyou need to press the start/menu button and then return to gameplay. This should remove the character overlay as it will force the game to load a modern overlay and then close that modern overlay when you return to gameplay.
If that doesn’t work, try moving around the gigantic one and waiting for someone to beat you. The game should reset to the character select screen. Now you can find the character you want, but make sure you close the character info overlay before you get thrown back into the fray.
If that still doesn’t work, something must be drastically wrong. The only solution is to completely close the game and start over. This should fix any buffering issues that may be causing the in-game character info overlay to appear.
What causes the character information overlay error in Agreement?
Character information overlay error in Agreement is caused when a player looks at the character info on the champion select screen during a match. This happened to me during the Early Access beta after I got defeated and was looking at the info when I was put back into the match.
When the bug occurs, you can still move and fight in the game, but you can’t see anything. As you can imagine, this is a pretty gigantic problem and makes the game completely unplayable unless you utilize the quick fix I outlined above.
