A central character in Rinascita’s storyline, Lorelei is seen by many as one of the most beautifully crafted bosses in history. Windy wavesand one that feels like it comes straight from the Lands Between.
But did you know that he also stars in one of the most beautifully crafted Echo Challenges in the game, where Rover and the Queen of the Night dance across the sky?
Here’s where to trigger and how to complete Lorelei’s secret event – also known as the Echo Challenge: The Illusion – and earn both the rewards and the Across the Rainbows secret trophy in Windy waves.
Event Location Lorelei Echo Challenge Secret Challenge at Wuthering Waves
You can run Lorelei Echo’s secret challenge in Windy waves heading towards the northern bridge leading to Thorncrown Rises and the location shown in the image below. There you will find a purple flower ready to bloom. To start the Echo Challenge, simply interact with it. We couldn’t confirm whether the challenge will be available before you meet and free Lorelei during the Rinascita main story arc, but it can’t hurt to try.
How to complete the Echo challenge and get the Across the Rainbows trophy
Once you interact with the flower and summon Lorelei, wait for the music to start playing and follow her across the sky to end the event. If you have completed any of the Flight Challenges in Rinscita, this won’t be arduous as you simply need to pass through all the Wind Rings in your path to reach your destination.
Once you reach the ground, Lorelei will show you your reward: a Premium Supply Chest containing one Shining Wave. As we mentioned earlier, for completing the challenge you will also receive the Across the Rainbows trophy and the exclusive Dancing Through Fantasies event song.
