This massive world is far too huge and unsafe to fully explore and conquer on your own, meaning you’ll always be thrown into a world filled with other players. Initially, you can choose whether you want to play in a world that allows for PvP or is strictly PvE so that no one ganks you while you’re having fun decorating your base, but what if you want to play with friends who end up in a different world than you?
Each server has multiple worlds, so coordinating a game on the same server doesn’t guarantee you’ll find them right away. How to change worlds
Changing worlds can be done almost immediately after completing the tutorial and entering the open world. The first area you enter is called Dayton Wetlands, but you can change worlds from any area of the map.
What you are looking for are Teleportation Towers. They are marked on the map with a miniature blue antenna symbol. Carefully head to one of them and as you approach it you will have two options: Teleportation Tower AND Switch to another world. Select the second option and a list of worlds will appear that you can scroll through. Select any option and hold F to immediately move to a up-to-date world.
