Indie horror hit The Mortuary Assistant is coming to consoles in an expanded and improved Definitive Edition.
Mortuary Assistant – Definitive Edition will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on August 2, 2024. It will also be a free update to the PC version of the game.
Coming to PC in 2022, The Mortuary Assistant has quickly gained a following for its spooky, haunted feel – always a hit with Twitch streamers.
The game puts you in the shoes of Rebecca Owens, a mortuary science graduate and fresh intern at River Fields Mortuary, but as if working with dead bodies wasn’t unsettling and eerie enough, it quickly becomes clear that the morgue is infested with a spirit or otherworldly creature. A phone call from the undertaker himself makes it clear that you’re trapped inside and can’t get out.
The Definitive Edition brings a ton of fresh features and content, including:
- Embalming Only Mode – Embalming an unlimited number of bodies
- New Haunt Events
- Additional knowledge
- New bodies to be embalmed
