Here’s the first trailer for Amazon’s Like A Dragon series

Published:

Last month, we learned that Sega and Amazon had partnered to create a live-action series based on the Like a Dragon (formerly Yakuza) franchise. Over the weekend, the studio debuted the first trailer at San Diego Comic-Con.

Like a Dragon: Yakuza focuses on Kazuma Kiryu (played by Takeuchi Ryoma) and follows his life across two time periods: 1995 and 2005. Set in the fictional Tokyo district of Kamurochō, the trailer synopsis states that the series “depicts the lives of cruel but passionate gangsters and men” and will explore stories that the games were unable to show.
