Quentin Tarantino’s brand recent Kill Bill animated sequence, The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge, can now be seen for the first time – and yes, it really does feature Fortnite’s famed banana.
A recent trailer for the compact film, which is set to be included in the upcoming reboot of Kill Bill’s Whole Bloody Affair, shows Uma Thurman returning once again as the heroine of The Bride, thanks to a performance captured using Epic Games’ Unreal Engine.
Fortnite fans will be the first to see the recent sequence in its entirety when it debuts in-game this Sunday, November 30 at 2:00 PM EST, as part of a broader partnership between Tarantino and Epic Games. As part of this collaboration, the animated compact also features Fortnite characters, including Peely and Skull Trooper.
For those wondering what’s going on, this The Lost Chapter adapts a sequence that Tarantino originally intended to include in Kill Bill: Part 1, in which Gogo Yubari’s sister, Yuki, pursues the Bride back to the United States to exact bloody revenge. The plot was abandoned, although it was revived here two decades later.
Regular movie-goers will be able to watch The Lost Chapter: Yuki’s Revenge as part of Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair when the newly combined film becomes available in confined release from December 5. Tickets to some participating theaters will include the GoGo Yubari Fortnite skin.
Before all this happens, Thurman’s Bride will appear in Fortnite this Saturday, November 29, as one of the many characters who have enlisted to facilitate save the day during the game’s end-of-chapter live event (alongside all the members of the KPop Demon Hunters, Superman, and Scooby Doo). Take part in this event and in the meantime you will receive the Yuki Yubari skin for free.
