Fans may be keeping their eyes peeled for the Nintendo Switch 2, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have games to look forward to on the Nintendo Switch. On Tuesday, Nintendo held a combined Indie Direct and Partner Direct that brought a slew of game announcements. Luckily for Nintendo Switch owners, several studios are releasing games for the console on the same day as the Direct, so you can head over and play some novel games on Tuesday.
The full list of same-day releases includes a variety of content, including DLC for the beloved indie game Balatro and the continuation of the clumsy Pico Park. So if you want to know what’s novel, here are all the games coming to Nintendo Switch on Tuesday.
Balatro to Get Witcher 3 and Among Us DLC
Balatro is a poker-inspired indie card game from developer LocalThunk that will be getting a major free update on Tuesday called “Friends of Jimbo.” This update will add specially themed cards inspired by four games: The Witcher 3, Dave Diver, Among usAND Vampire survivors.
Peglin originally released for Windows PC in 2022, but is coming to Nintendo Switch on Tuesday. The game combines classic pachinko-inspired gameplay from games like Peggle with turn-based RPG combat. So if you’re looking for an excuse to play Peggle’s single-player adventure on Switch, you can download it on Tuesday.
The sequel to the confused co-op game Pico Park is available exclusively on Nintendo Switch today. Play with two or up to eight players in a confused yet fun team-based platformer.
Platformer fans and weirdos, rejoice! A 2D platformer with a twist Pizza Tower will come to the Nintendo Switch console and is also on the list of games that can be downloaded on the same day, Tuesday.
Even more goat-inspired mayhem is coming to Nintendo Switch. Now Switch owners can go and live out their best goat dreams in Goat simulator 3which will be released on console on Tuesday.
Castlevania Dominus Collection
A bundle of classic Castelvania games will be released on Nintendo Switch on Tuesday. Castlevania Dominus Collection has three games: Portrait of a Ruin, Order of the ChurchAND Dawn of Sorrow. If you missed the game’s release on Nintendo DS, now’s your chance to play it on Switch.
