Helldivers 2 Players Fear They’ve Been Cheated Into Unlocking Weapons They Don’t Want

Arrowhead, creators of the popular co-op shooter Hell Divers 2, recently they have been struggling with the problem of getting weapons into the hands of their community. Hell Divers 2 players have consistently failed to unlock novel Stratagems—weapons and tools that can be deployed throughout a match—for months. Things have gotten so bad for those penniless things that the community suspects Arrowhead is tricking them into unlocking them via the latest and most hidden Master Order.

It was first announced as unlockable strategy in Aprilthe anti-tank mine strategy met a particularly cruel fate Hell Divers 2five-month service life. When they were first offered, they were a choice between two strategies: either mines or a rocket launcher. Players had to choose between liberating two planets that matched one of the strategies, and the one that was liberated first received its weapons. The rocket launcher won, and the mines were postponed until the next gigantic order.

Moments later, the community was tasked with an even bigger mission, the goal of which was to kill two billion automatons—one of Hell Divers 2enemy factions and especially brutal to fight. As a reward for completing the main quest, players were given a second chance at anti-tank mines. This time Hell Divers 2 the number of players did not reach the target, although it is not clear whether this was due to decreasing numberslack of interest in the prize, simply not fulfilling such a gigantic order, or some combination of all these forces.

Last month, Arrowhead once again offered mines a choice between two solutions: Hell Divers 2 players were placed in their own tram problem and forced to choose between saving the literal children of Super Earth or the factory that would produce the mines. The community chose the children.

Which brings us to the current main assignment and its rather basic goal: to liberate and defend the planet X-45. It’s so basic that the main assignment has already been completed, with days left on the clock. Hell Divers 2 players, however, fear that there is an ulterior motive behind defending the X-45. You see, most main bounties clearly state the rewards that will be awarded upon completion, but the current bounty largely obscures that fact.

Instead, the reward for this major order was most often referred to as a “First Galactic War weapon.” Initially, players suspected that this might be a return of a weapon from the original version Hell Diverswhich may still be true. This idea has not entirely convinced conspiracy theorists, who are now fully convinced that it is Arrowhead (and specifically Joel) a way to cheat players At last unlocking min.

People in Hell Divers 2 subreddit, they explode posts joking about conspiracy. One post is, in capital letters, titled “HIS TRAP. WITHDRAWAL. WITHDRAWAL. THEY WANT TO GIVE US MINES.” The language of the trap has moved to other postsand one of my favorites even uses acquaintance star Wars I, I template to great effect. Single player I asked honestly if the language of the main order suggested that they would unlock older ones Hell Divers weapons, and the responses are full of people screaming about a grand mining conspiracy from 2024. I’m inclined to believe them, and here’s why.

The mines aren’t as sexy as the novel weapons, which makes sense why players aren’t too keen on getting their hands on them. The order to kill two billion automatons was poorly timed, considering the game was still recovering from Confusion over PSN that almost It cost Arrowhead their good reputations.and suffered from a lower than usual number of plays. The tram issue seemed to mock the mine’s unique situation, but also seemed like a tacit admission by the developers that it was an unpopular choice. As otherwise could the creators put these tools out of our hands outright trick us into earning it? That’s like hiding your dog’s medication in his food.

X-45 has become a popular planet since Arrowhead launched novel jungle biome. Players are already flocking to each planet with a novel look, so why not place a gigantic order there to make sure that the majority of vigorous players support completing the gigantic order? Besides, most gigantic orders are more of a long-term affair, divided into defending or liberating multiple planets. In this case, however, we literally only have to hold one planet, and everyone is already there. It’s no wonder that there are still 3 days left to complete the goal, and it’s already been completed.

I don’t know what to believe at this point, but I do know that it would be really fucking hilarious if Arrowhead tricked their community into supporting this initiative just to give them the mines. I’m on my knees and literally praying that next week will come and we’ll all unlock them. That would change my entire life.
