Ever since Helldivers 2 developer Arrowhead implemented the initial Killzone crossover piece into the game, the prices players are paying for these up-to-date things have sparked some stern backlash. Now, after working on responding to dissatisfied players, the studio has decided to give away the equipment constituting the second part of the cooperation for free.
As we wrote yesterday, the biggest problem players have with the Killzone loadout is the fact that the amount of super credits charged individually – since they are not war bonds – for a up-to-date assault rifle and armor set is quite high.

After CEO Shams Jorjani and Johan Pilestedt spent some time on social media trying to explain to gamers why they did what they did with this crossover rig, the studio has implemented a solution that it hopes will assist repair the vestiges of goodwill that they burned out at high prices. This is essentially making the second part of the collaboration, which was scheduled for a December 23rd release, available to everyone today as a free Christmas gift.
