Helldivers 2 Chemical Agents Warbond will bring positive toxicity next week

Developer Arrowhead Game Studios has announced a up-to-date game, Warbond, for Hell Divers 2 which will be released on September 19, 2024. This expansion is called Chemical Agents and brings something to the game that has been missing since its release: chemical weapons.

Hell Divers 2Chemical Agents Warbond introduces more cosmetics for the Hellpod, Guard Dog, and Exosuits. There are also two up-to-date Stratagems that spray chemicals at enemies to kill them, dealing damage over time, resulting in the worst kind of death imaginable. My favorite thing about this Warbond might be the up-to-date armor sets, which look like the kind of hazmat suits you’d see in a sci-fi horror movie.

Toxic Helldivers

I suspect most players will be excited about the up-to-date strategies in the game. Chemical Bonds. The first is the TX-41 Sterilizer, a chemical gas sprayer that will deal damage over time. The AX/TX-13 “Guard Dog” Dog Breath does the same automatically, following you around and watching as you mow down enemies with your primary and secondary weapons.

The G-4 Gas Grenade creates a gas cloud that deals the same damage, though I would have expected the initial explosion to deal additional damage. As I mentioned, it’s the two up-to-date armor sets that I consider the stars of this Warbond.

Each of them has a passive ability called Advanced Filtration. This blocks most of the damage dealt by the toxic gas clouds you’ll be creating with all the up-to-date Stratagems, including the Orbital Gas Strike Stratagem, which sounds like a grubby sci-fi bomb.

In addition to some up-to-date, spirited cosmetics, there’s also the P-11 Stim pistol, which will support you provide a petite healing boost to your fellow Helldivers. It won’t save you from a horde of Automatons, but it will keep someone from dying from a sudden missile attack.

As with every up-to-date Warbond, Chemical Agents has a up-to-date title to conquer. This time it’s Expert Exterminator, which seems like the perfect title to apply when you land on a bug world to kill a few billion Terminids for oil to power the Superdestroyers Super Earth.

This war bond comes at an intriguing time for Hell Divers 2 as fans eagerly await the 60-day update, which should buff every weapon that has been systematically nerfed over the past few months. However, the update could be a double-edged sword with nerfs that will break some other element that we don’t know about yet.

Arrowhead Game Studios has a lot of work to do to regain the trust of players. Warbonds is great because it gives us more fun tools to play with, but we need the basics Hell Divers 2 to feel good again if the game intends to distract its community from the fact that it has lost.
