Hardcore Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players brazenly brag about teammates… to gain XP

Are you a troll? Do you like being cheeky so-and-so? Then Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 might be the game for you right now, as its hardcore playlists allow you to flash allies for XP. It’s not a lot of XP, and it actively hurts your team’s efforts to win the match, but it’s fun. So who can say whether it is bad or not?

By the way, by flashing I mean flash grenades. In regular Black Ops 6 games, if you flash an enemy, you will receive a compact escalate of 15 XP. However, in hardcore games, flashing allies can sometimes result in the same reward. I tried it out myself in-game, and while it can be tough to reproduce consistently, I can confirm that it still works as of this writing. Although this is an issue that’s crying out for a quick patch, so have fun while you can.

Is this an error? Exploit? Fun little quirk? No matter how you want to classify it, they can be seen at their best courtesy of Expel, a high-level player who posted a video clip of them throwing flashbangs at their team during a hardcore match. You can watch the video below, but it’s worth noting that Expel also provided additional information on how much XP you can earn from affable fire headshots and how they affect flashbang grenades, writing: “You can only do this for 300 XP total , and once you get a keen ricochet, you can no longer flash hit them.

So go have fun while you can. And if you don’t feel like it, I’m proud to announce that the Nuketown 24/7 playlist went live literally five minutes ago, so you can play that instead. Have fun!
