There were many secrets surrounding Mindseye, an adventure with a third person from the up-to-date studio Build a Rocket Boy-Ty more when the review codes have not been sent earlier. However, we managed to exceed a few hours with the latest version of PS5 and … well, it is not great.
Mindseye is a very strange game. He establishes science fiction narrative focusing on the hero of Jacob Diaz, soldiers with uneven memory thanks to the elusive Mindseye implant. The opening scenes will think that this may be a massive budget experience, and some technically fantastic cutscenes contain high -quality character models and really great animations on the face.
Is almost A good -looking game, and sometimes in motion, if you narrow your eyes a little, you can see the potential. However, with a terribly blurred background and efficiency restricted at 30 frames per second, but regular refueling below-again on PS5 Professionally seems to be uncomfortable. You can check it with our PS5 Pro material on Push square YouTube channel.
As the game has been proven in our film, things do not become much better when the action escalates. Gunplay seems to be incredibly basic, with finger-on controls, a stiff system based on the cover and terrifyingly stupid artificial intelligence-there is no dodge roll option or close-cruciferous fight. All these fights take place on the streets, which could easily be broken from Grand Theft Auto V, and we don’t really mean it as a good thing.

Speaking of this, the game wants to introduce you to the dynamic city of Red Rock, an alternative in Las Vegas, which was fully realized on the open map – except that Mindseye is not a game in the open world.
His campaign is strictly linear, which is by no means a problem. However, it is that the missions and cutscenes are distributed at a distance with long drives on the map. One mission gave us the car to follow the drone for over five minutes, and then force us to alone throughout the entire five -minute route right after.

There are no traditionally detectable tasks in this “open world”. On the other side of the game you will be initiated towards the portals that will send you to a brief memory from Jakub’s past, shootings with other characters and even a random minigame. All of these are available for playing or playing in the “Play” menu, where you can try to beat your time or score a point.
We will not go so far to say that we hate mindseye based on a few hours we played. As we mentioned, movie cutscenes are pleasant to watch, driving mechanics are actually decent, and its story, although Inffensive, is not terribly bad.
All this, however, is wrapped in fragmentary and technically disordered experience in the game that surely “GTA Killer” does not scream.

It’s almost like building a rocket boy or has all these plans to fill in the gaps, and what is left during the premiere is a disconnected and unfinished product. For now, however, we are going with the game and soon we will come back with you to get a full rating here on Push Square.
