Gran Turismo 7 Spec III and DLC pack available from December 4

The free Spec III 1.65 update* brings you an stimulating mix of powerful machines, classic icons and cutting-edge technology. Great tourism. The Spec III update and Power Pack for Gran Turismo 7 will be available on Thursday, December 4 at 12:00 PT, 08:00 GMT and 17:00 JST*.

Ferrari 296 GT3 ’23

A pure racing evolution of the 296 GTB, the GT3 ditches the hybrid system in favor of a 600-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. Built by Oreca, it debuted at the 2022 Spa 24 Hours and raced at Daytona in 2023. An Evo version will follow in 2026.

Renault Espace F1 ’95

The first minivan in Europe with a 3.5-liter V10 F1 engine with 788 HP. Built by Matra, it reaches a speed of 300 km/h and accelerates to 62 km/h in 2.8 seconds – a real curiosity in motorsports.

Yas Marina track

Located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, the Yas Marina Circuit stretches across Yas Island in the Persian Gulf and is one of the most newfangled circuits in the world, set alongside marinas, luxury hotels and theme parks. This demanding circuit features a carefully constructed mix of long straights and low-speed technical sections and has already been home to many celebrated racing moments. It is also known for being one of the few tracks to host twilight racing, which runs throughout the evening.

Gilles-Villeneuve track

(Length: 4361 m / Altitude change: 5 m / Number of turns: 14 / Longest straight: 1173 m)

Named in honor of the life and achievements of the behind schedule Canadian F1 driver Gilles Villeneuve, the historic Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve opened in the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1979. The layout includes many consecutive left and right corners where drivers will have to choose the right line and get into rhythm. The final chicane is an extremely hard stage ending at the Wall of Champions, so called when 3 champions hit the wall during the 1999 F1 Canadian Grand Prix.

Dunlop tires

Dunlop Tires, originally founded in the UK and now operating in Japan, has been added. After the update, the tires presented in the tuning shop and the default tires on special cars will have Dunlop patterns. (Except some vehicles)

World Map / “Power Pack” Pavilion.

The Power Pack pavilion has been added to the world map. A sailboat icon will appear in the lower right corner of the map after completing Menu Book #9: Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade. The Power Pack is a paid DLC exclusive to PS5 that aims to provide a realistic racing experience, featuring 50 races in 20 categories, all presented as full track sessions including practice, qualifying and race.

Collector level

The Collector level cap has been raised from 50 to 70. For levels above 50, players will be rewarded with an unlimited number of invites for utilize in Brand Central.

Weekly challenges

Mission Challenges and Time Trial events have been added to the weekly challenges that unlock after viewing the ending. In addition to the special race, these events will be available for a circumscribed time.

Data logger

A current Data Logger function has been added. This feature is available in non-race modes such as Time Trial, Licenses and Track Experience. Players will be able to load data from a previous attempt or replay to view and compare data such as race lines, throttle and brake inputs, speed and engine rpm, all in real time.

Cafe / Seasonal menu

The seasonal menu has been added to the cafe as current content after completion. Collect different cars each season to unlock additional rewards.

Additional lighting has been added to the Additional Lighting option to provide brighter and more pretty photos in situations where the car may appear too gloomy, such as in powerful backlight.

New paid DLC Power Pack

On December 4, the long-awaited Gran Turismo Power Pack DLC will arrive in the PlayStation 5 version of Gran Turismo 7 as a paid add-on ($29.99), providing an all-new game mode based on a real racing theme, bundled with 5,000,000 In-Game Credits.***

Power Pack brings a current challenge to Gran Turismo, offering a current format in the pursuit of a true racing experience.

The current game mode offers a variety of motorsport challenges, including full weekend races, FROM practice to qualifying for the main race, as well as 50 current events in 20 thematic categories, including 24-hour races, all inspired by global automotive and motorsport traditions. AI Agent Gran Turismo Sophy 3.0 is used exclusively in all races to provide more realistic tail-to-nose racing action.

After completing Championship #9 in the menu book: Tokyo Highway Parade, a sailboat will appear in the lower left corner of the world map. Clicking on this pavilion will take you to the screen where you can purchase the Power Pack from the PS Store.

Intense tail-to-nose battles in Gran Turismo Sophy 3.0

The Power Pack includes only the latest version of Gran Turismo Sophy 3.0, providing the most realistic and intense AI challenge in GT history.

50 events in 20 categories, including 24-hour races

Travel the world of racing with One-Make series and full-scale race days featuring Gr.1 and Gr.3 cars in 24-hour endurance challenges and unique races.

Get special cars available in the Power Pack

For completing the race, you will receive stars depending on your position at the finish line. Collecting these stars allows you to purchase various bonuses, including six unique cars specially tuned by Gran Turismo. The more stars you earn, the more cars you can add to your collection.
