Our mission has always been to create a baseball experience that appeals to everyone, from long-time veterans of the series to brand novel players picking up the game for the first time. This year, the team brought you novel ways to enjoy the sport you love.
The development team has really stepped up to the plate, offering fans completely novel ways to enjoy their favorite sport, from novel high school and college journeys in Road To The Show to electrifying novel Diamond Dynasty experiences in Diamond Quest and Weekend Classic.
At ShowTech, we’ve introduced gameplay innovations like improving the throw meter and adding hundreds of novel animations. We also made the offseason more strategic and rewarding as a franchise and proudly continued our commitment to storytelling and baseball history with another season of Storylines showcasing the Negro Leagues.
And this is just the beginning.

MLB The Show 26, building on wins, dealing with feedback and constant progress
Last year we shared information at the beginning of the season and we intend to continue to do so. With that in mind, here’s a look at some of the areas we’re focusing on in MLB The Show 26:
